Concert for Canadians living / visiting Cuba

Live

Concert Orchestra Canada proudly sponsored and organized a special concert in Guardalavaca, Cuba, created primarily for Canadians living in or visiting Cuba.

For this special cultural event, Concert Orchestra Canada engaged the Holguín Symphony Orchestra, featuring a 30-piece orchestra under the direction of Orestes Saavedra.

The evening presented a diverse musical program featuring American standards, Latin, French, Italian, and Neapolitan music, performed by the orchestra alongside Canadian and Cuban artists.

Featured Cuban performers included Liz Ponce, Yakira Ricardo, and the Holguín Professional Dance Ensemble, bringing together orchestral music, vocals, and dance in one memorable performance.

The concert celebrated the connection between Canada and Cuba through music and culture, providing Canadian residents and visitors in Cuba with an opportunity to enjoy professional live orchestral entertainment while experiencing the talent and artistic traditions of Holguín.
